This is how much money Liverpool earned by beating Barcelona in Champions League semi-finals

Liverpool produced a stunning comeback to beat Barcelona 4-0 at Anfield in the Champions League semi-final second leg.

The 4-3 aggregate victory meant Jurgen Klopp's side qualified for the competition's showpiece event in Madrid on June 1 where they will play Tottenham Hotspur - who also went through after an incredible fight-back against Ajax.

The Reds recorded the unbelievable victory over Ernesto Valverde's side as Gini Wijnaldum scored two in between Divock Origi's brace.

Now as well as trying to win their sixth European crown, the Reds will be rewarded with a huge cash injection from the Champions League run.

Liverpool could earn even more Champions League money under new UEFA scheme

Victory over Bayern at the Allianz Arena reportedly saw Liverpool bag a huge €10.5m (£9m).

By reaching the semi-finals and beating Porto, there was an additional €12m (£10.32m) on offer.

And by virtue of the Reds repeating last season's run to the final by following up those two contests with a win over Barcelona, they were handed a further €15m (£12.9m).

The winners of the Champions League receive an extra €4m (£3.44m).
