This is how much Love Island contestants are expected to earn after leaving the villa

Love Island's fifth series comes to an end tonight - with one lucky couple set to win £50,000.

But even without winning the show, contestants are still expected to earn a pretty penny.

Finalists can still expect to earn thousands of pounds and even dumped islanders could earn a lot of cash, once their time in the villa was up.

Social media expert Sedge Beswick from Seen Connects appeared on the Emma Barnett show on BBC Radio 5live.

Sedge said she thought some of the islanders could earn millions of pounds.

Sedge pointed to Dani Dyer's collaboration with In the Style and said Dani would have received a cut of sales.

Molly-Mae would be the prime candidate to have a similar collaboration with either Boohoo, Misguided or In the Style.

Guest appearances either at nightclubs or events could also bring in the cash, along with sponsored posts on Instagram.

Sedge said: "The winning couple would easily earn £2million between them in the first 12 months.

"Ovie is the most chilled out guy you could meet and if he wins I think he could easily make £2 million on his own, no sweat."

Sedge said that Molly-Mae could easily charge £5,000 for one Instagram post, because of her 2.2million followers.
