Winter is well and truly upon us, and for many of us that means dry skin, cracked lips and brittle dry hair. It's all fun and games.
Luckily for us, one hair care expert has shared her top tips for washing your hair in winter, which could make the world of difference to your hair health and even promote more growth.
The lady behind Golâb Beauty ( @golabbeauty ) has amassed more than a million followers on TikTok thanks to sharing hints and tricks for keeping hair healthy and fresh all year round.
In her latest clip, she revealed her winter hair washing routine which ensures hair stays fluffy and healthy without going dry and brittle in the winter months.

To start off with, she revealed she puts conditioner on the middle to the ends of her hair first in order to prevent it from drying out from the shampoo, which we didn't even know was a thing but everyday is a school day.
Next, she takes the shampoo and rubs it between the palms of her hands to emulsify it before applying.
"I only shampoo my scalp, any shampoo that gets on my ends slides off because of the conditioner," she explained, adding: "I only wash my ends if I have product build up."
Then she reapplies her conditioner and leaves it on for free minutes, before rinsing with cold (yes, cold) water, to prevent frizz.
One follower commented: "I'm not joking, I did this and my hair has felt so soft since," while another added: "Literally thank you so much because my hair has been feeling like hay."
