This is how hot the Met Office says it's going to be where you live this weekend

Summer may be over but Wales is set for some warm and sunny weather this weekend, according to the Met Office.

Temperatures will be reaching up to 21°C on Saturday, with clear skies expected before Sunday sees the sunshine start to turn cloudy.

Cardiff and Swansea are expected to enjoy the warmer weather at the start of the weekend.

But the nice weather will take a turn on Sunday as it becomes greyer before picking back up again with sunshine forecast for the middle of next week.

A spokesman for the Met Office said: "Plenty of sunshine across Wales today and it’ll feel pleasantly warm, with temperatures rising to 20°C in places.

"After a chilly start, tomorrow will be another warm and sunny day with temperatures reaching up to 21°C, turning breezy in northwest Wales later.

"Fog will develop quite widely on Saturday night followed by a cloudier day on Sunday, patchy light rain possible in the thicker cloud. Temperatures around 19°C.

"The average temperature for Wales in September is 17°C, so temperatures this weekend slightly above average."
