Recent transfer speculation at Liverpool has been surrounding the potential arrival of midfielder Thiago Alcantara.
The Reds continue to be heavily linked with the Bayern Munich playmaker, who has a year left on his contract with the Bundesliga club.
And now the player himself has sparked further speculation by posting on Twitter a picture of himself with former Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho.
Coutinho is on loan with the Bundesliga giants from Barcelona and has played alongside Thiago in Bayern’s midfield this season.
