It might be time to stop considering Nikola Jokic to be one of the best passers in the NBA.
That feels disrespectful at this point. This dude is actually the best passer in the NBA. There are passes he throws that not even his teammates can really see coming. No idea how he sees some of the angles he sees, but he just does it.
A perfect example of this came on Friday night against the Spurs. You know how your youth coach told you you’re never supposed to pass the ball through the paint?
Yeah, that doesn’t apply to Jokic.

Dude passed the ball through not 1. Not 2. But 3 San Antonio Spurs. THREE. And it’s not like they weren’t in position to steal it. The ball whipped right by their three heads.
It was totally insane. Michael Porter Jr. didn’t even expect it. JaMychal Green said you could hear wind coming off of the ball. That’s how hard he whipped it.
