This how much it will cost you to die where you live

Ever thought about how much it would cost to die? Well research by funeral stationery service A Loving Tribute shows you how much on average a funeral costs in your local area.

They have put the information together in a handy heat map, showing how the cost varies across England. 

The way the prices vary can be quite shocking, with a swing in price of just under £1,500 from dearest to cheapest.

It is no surprise the dearest place to die is in London, with the average funeral costing £4,838. You don’t have to travel very far for the second most expensive place to die, which is Surrey. The average funeral there comes in at £4,451. The West Midlands is the third most expensive, coming in at £4,293.

At the other end of the scale, the cheapest place to die is Northamptonshire at £3,368. This is closely followed by Wiltshire, at £3,381. The third cheapest is Oxfordshire at £3,403.
