If I can harken back to the first Iron Man movie, "[This guy] built himself a wood motorcycle. In a shed. OUT OF SCRAPS!" Sorry, my Obadiah Stane impersonation just can't quite capture Jeff Bridges' performance. Yet, I absolutely share his sentiments after watching the video below and seeing some random dude just build himself a working, running motorcycle out of wood and whatever he could find lying around.
Honestly, I'm not sure where to begin with this story, other than it's pretty self-explanatory. You've got this guy, with almost zero context of why or who or why, who's built himself a fully functional motorcycle out of mostly wood.
And you can see him take this insanity to fill up its gas tank at a gas station somewhere in Africa. Because wood, gasoline, and an internal combustion engine go soooo well together, right? Luckily for him, it actually does.
Check it out.
Guy builds motorcycle frame out of wood and it actually works

Never underestimate human ingenuity, as it'll constantly surprise and entertain you in its resilience. Cause that's what this motorcycle is, ingenuity of the highest order. Don't have the money to buy a new or used motorcycle? Build it yourself. Don't have the money to buy and build a motorcycle with all the right parts? Find some wood and a saw and get your ass to work!
Honestly, I love every part of the video above, as it just shows everything great about the human brain and figuring out a problem.
Cause what you have are a bunch of 2x4s and scrap wood, a leftover and presumably scrapped engine and fuel tank, a couple spare tires that look off a scooter or smaller, and a guy with the brain that can see it as a finished motorcycle that he can actually ride. Brilliant.
What I will say is that we should find this guy and get him a good helmet, as whereas I love the bike build and the mechanical know-how he showed in building it, I'd rather not see that same ingenuity responsible for protecting that big brain of his. Which is currently the case.
My dude, get yourself an actual helmet. One that isn't made out of wood.
