While this year’s NBA Draft has been referred to by just about everyone as a three-man draft, there’s really just one player who stands about the rest of prospects in this years draft class:
Zion. Williamson.
The former Duke star is going to hear his name get called first at Thursday’s draft in Brooklyn and his new home will be the great city of New Orleans where he’ll play for the Pelicans.
The amount of attention Zion has received during his time at Duke and leading up to the draft has been crazy. This photo from Wednesday’s media day perfectly sums up what it’s like to be Zion, and what it’s like to not be Zion:
Poor Gogo Bitazde. Though sometimes it is nice to sit alone and be able to collect your thoughts without anybody bothering you.
But yeah, this draft is all about Zion.
