This giant doodle wall in Leeds is the perfect half-term activity for kids

If you're on the hunt for things to keep the kids entertained this week, then look no further than this huge Halloween doodle wall that's coming to Leeds.

What's more, it's completely free to take part in.

Renowned New Zealand-born designer Scott Walker will create the giant five-metre installation in Leeds city centre this week - and will then invite kids and parents to join him in colouring it in.

The massive pentagon-shaped colouring wall will be put up in the Victoria Quarter on Wednesday, October 30 and Thursday, October 31 between 10am and 6pm.

The video above is a little glimpse of what to expect, but there will also be a Halloween twist on his infamous designs.

Jo Colburn, general manager at Victoria Leeds, said: "Not only is our doodle event a chance for families to get in the spirit of the Halloween season but it is also an opportunity for the people of Leeds to get together and have some fun.

"We can’t wait to see what designs Scott comes up with for the spookiest time of the year and hope to see lots of locals – of all ages – coming down to watch him in action."
