This exhilarating Headis highlight is everything right about ESPN ‘The Ocho’

ESPN “The Ocho” has outdone itself.

The worldwide leader has continued its tradition of turning ESPN2 into ESPN8 to provide sports fans with a day of wacky coverage of bizarre sport events, as inspired by the movie “DodgeBall: A True Underdog Story.”

In a game of Headis (head tennis), Headi Potter and Sniper Schorsch were battling out a fierce rally, in which their play was as on-point as their names. When Schorsch delivered the point-winning strike, the broadcaster Adam Candee delivered back-to-back priceless calls.

“What a save by Sniper! And then he comes in, turning his whole body into a torpedo with a nuclear war headis. You see Headi here b-body dance around the side of the table and plant his head into the ball,” he said.

A nuclear war headis? B-boy dancing? More. Please, more.

ESPN’s “The Ocho” will be providing apparently transcendent coverage of countless (almost) sporting events on Wednesday. This is just the beginning.
