This ESPN graphic about 50+ point games has us confused

ESPN posted a graphic on social media today lauding Giannis Antetokounmpo for becoming the 11th different player to score 50 points in a game this season – a new NBA record.

But people were quick to point out that there is one player who has a bit more than others.

Hi, James Harden (6).

Harden, the reigning MVP, leads the league with an average of 35.9 points per game. He’s also made the most three-pointers this season (312) and has scored the most points of any player this season (2307).

Some people pointed out that the list is in alphabetical order, but if so, wouldn’t LaMarcus Aldridge be at the top?

Here’s another list Harden is on: Only five players have scored 60 or more points on more than one occasion: Wilt Chamberlain (32 times), Kobe Bryant (6 times), Michael Jordan (5 times), Elgin Baylor (4 times) and Harden (twice).

Put some respeck on his name!
