A woman calls out her date after discovering multiple toothbrushes labeled with women’s names in his bathroom. However, his explanation turns out to be an adorable misunderstanding.
In a video with over 518,000 views, TikToker Janae (@comedywithjanae) shows a picture of a cup holding four toothbrushes.
“I went on a date and asked to use his bathroom. On his countertop, you know I’m going to check out the toothbrushes,” she says. “I’m like, ‘This dude lives alone. Why does he got four toothbrushes?'”
Then she takes a closer look and realizes that the toothbrushes are labeled with names: “Sage, Chloe, Crystal…”
“All these chick names. I’m like, ‘Wow. Oh, it’s like that?'” she exclaims.
Why did he have toothbrushes with women’s names on them?
Janae laments that “nothing surprises” her anymore when it comes to the men she dates. However, she still decides to confront her date about the toothbrushes.
“So I come out and I’m like, ‘So, why you got all these toothbrushes with chicks’ names on them?'” she asks the man. “He then opens a door.”
Behind the door, he shows her his five pet cats.
“He would brush all of their teeth and they’re labeled with their names,” she says, bursting into laughter as she recounts the moment.

Commenters on Janae’s TikTok assure her that her date is a green flag for owning cats and taking care of their oral hygiene.
