Popular baby food brand Cow and Gate has been forced to urgently recall one of its products over safety concerns.
The Cheesy Broccoli Bake (10+ months) is the product being recalled after fears emerged it may contain "small bits of blue plastic".
The Food Standards Agency issued the recall yesterday and urged parents not to feed their children the product.
In the food recall alert it said: "We are recalling one batch of Cheesy Broccoli Bake (10+ months) 250g jars because small pieces of a thin blue rubber glove have been found in some jars in this batch.
"No other batches of this product or any other Cow and Gate products are affected.
"We are sorry that these jars do not meet our usual high quality standards and for any inconvenience this recall may cause.
"These jars do not pose a health risk, but we are recalling them as they do not meet our usual high quality standards."
If you have bought this product with the batch code 28122020 from a shop recently, you can return it to the store for a full refund.
