'This could get ugly!' - West Ham fans can't believe what Manuel Pellegrini has done vs Brighton

Manuel Pellegrini's team selection for this afternoon’s Premier League fixture against Brighton & Hove Albion has got a number of West Ham fans talking.

Following last weekend's 5-0 hammering at the hands of Manchester City, the United boss was expected to make changes to his starting XI.

And he has.

Four in total as Arthur Masuaku, Robert Snodgrass, Pablo Fornals and Javier Hernandez all come into the team in place of Aaron Cresswell, Michail Antonio, Felipe Anderson and Sebastien Haller.

Speaking ahead of the game, Pellegrini has revealed what he expects from the Seagulls under their new manager Graham Potter.

"They started very well a clear style of play under their new manager," he said. "Always playing in their stadium is a difficult team so we must be very concentrated, play with a high pace and intensity.

"As a manager I know that before he was at Swansea and he was a professional player.

"The way he has started with Brighton, I think he will be successful."

West Ham line-up: Fabianski; Fredericks, Ogbonna, Diop, Masuaku; Rice, Wilshere; Snodgrass, Fornals, Lanzini; Hernandez

Most of the reaction from Irons supporters on social media has centred around the inclusion of Angelo Obgonna at centre-half alongside Issa Diop.
