This club night is raising money in aid of food banks and mental health

A club night to raise money for mental health and food banks is being held next month.

Club 69 in Paisley is drumming up support for the Scottish Association of Mental Health and a Renfrewshire foodbanks on Friday June 14.

Early 90s acid house hero Altern-8's Mark Archer will be performing alongside Sub Club's resident legend Domenic Cappello. Resident Advisor will also be donating 50% of the booking fee for each ticket bought to the cause too.

Elizabeth Alexander, Project Manager at Renfrewshire Foodbank, said: "Club 69's charity fundraiser is a wonderful idea. The money raised will go directly to supporting vulnerable families in the area.

"We at Renfrewshire Foodbank cannot thank Club 69 enough for their support."

Community Fundraising Manager for SAMH, Gillian McManus said: “We’d like to say a huge thank you to Club 69 for choosing to fundraise for SAMH. The money raised will go towards helping us to support people when they need us most."
