In New England’s victory over the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, it was a gritty and scrappy game. it may sound cliché, but every yard mattered. With that in mind, it comes as no surprise that players on both sides were doing everything possible to try and gain extra yards.
In the case of Patriots linebacker Chase Winovich, he flopped in trying to draw a penalty. Let’s just say certain NBA players would have been proud of his effort. Based on the reaction of the official, he was certainly not buying what the linebacker was trying to sell.
For what it’s worth, Winovich had a good game on Sunday, recording five tackles and a sack.

As New England looks to get more out of its younger linebackers, Winovich looks to be a big part of that. In any event, it is safe to say that he will not be an actor anytime soon.
