This castle near Glasgow is throwing a psychedelic forest carnival on Saturday

The Psychedelic Forest Carnival is back - and promising to be bigger and better than ever before.

The annual extravaganza returns to the Kelburn Castle for the ultimate end of summer bash.

And with music over multiple stages, cocktails, craft lager and food stalls, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

And you don't even have go far - Kelburn Castle is less than an hour's drive from Glasgow city centre.

Music fans can expect  a night of drum and bass, reggae, dancehall, afrobeat and samba sounds across four epic stages.

Revellers are in for a visual treat as the grounds are transformed with festival decor, colourful lighting and special effects fit for a woodland rave.

Headline acts from Benny Page and Eva Lazarus to Samedia Shebeen & Friends and Strawberry Jam Soundsystem are sure to keep you going until the small wee hours (4pm to be exact).

The carnival returns this Saturday (September 14) and kicks off at 7pm.

Tickets are available to buy here but remember, the event is for over 18s only.
