The former Blue Peter presenter spent four years fronting the children’s show - but he also had a starring role in Emmerdale.
Tim Vincent presented BBC’s Blue Peter from 1993 to 1997 and three years later he went on to play Adam Forrester in the Yorkshire-based soap.
He held the role in Emmerdale as the local vet for one year - from March 21, 2000 to January 16, 2001 - and appeared in a total of 64 episodes, MyLondon reported.

Tim made quite the entrance to the much-loved ITV soap, as his character Adam arrived in the village just as a truck collided with a bus.
Sadly, the catastrophe had a number of casualties, but bravely Adam managed to save most of the passengers onboard.
Adam showed his heroic side once more when he saved Paddy Kirk after he was kicked by a horse and ended up unconscious.
Another major storyline involving Adam, saw him caught up in a love triangle with Marlon Dingle as they both tried to vie for Tricia Dingle’s affections.

Although Tricia picked Adam, the relationship didn’t last long as she caught him being called back to the bedroom by Virginia West.
Sadly, Adam’s time in the village didn’t end well - he departed the soap after a horse suffered an adverse reaction to penicillin and subsequently he was sacked from his job.
Before his stint on Emmerdale, Adam spent for years presenting the children’s flagship show Blue Peter.
The former editor, Biddy baxter, said that, at the time, Tim was the longest-serving presenter and he was awarded a Bronze Blue Peter page, a butterscotch waistcoats and a packet of prawn cocktail Quavers.
As well as presenting and appearing on the small screen, Tim has done his fair share of stage performances - appearing in musical comedy ‘Pantomime’ and Cinderella.
The father-of-two, who has spent time living in the USA, has also hosted the Miss USA contest on 2007.
He has also presented on radio shows such as Capital FM and Magic FM.
He is also a Guinness World Record holder after he and Josh Swash successfully managed to ‘throw the most pancakes to a partner’ as part of a challenge on Channel 4’s The Paul O’Grady Show.
