This Amazon Alexa update will take the Arsenal-Tottenham rivalry into the future

Amazon have continued their leap into Premier League football by enabling their Alexa device to sing football chants and insults.

The streaming giants have joined the world of Premier League broadcasting and will show their first live games in December of this year.

Amazon have already ventured into tennis coverage and they are committed to making waves in football too.

In advance of their first live Premier League matches, the company have announced that fans in the UK will get the opportunity to have their Alexa device sing their favourite chant or dish out insults about their rivals.

The new software update features football chants and insults for more than 40 Premier League, Championship, League One and Scottish Premiership clubs.

Manchester United supporters can hear a rendition of ‘Ole's at the wheel’ by saying: “Alexa, sing me a Man United song”, while Chelsea fans can do the same to hear the ‘Super Frankie Lampard’ chant.

Alexa has also been programmed to dish out insults to fans, with Tottenham supporters having to face being told: “You won the league in black and white”, and Arsenal fans hearing: “Do you want to do something on Thursday night? Oh no, wait, sorry”.
