It turns out dreams really do come true, because there's a 5-star holiday resort in the Maldives looking for staff.
The Soneva Fushi resort on Baa Atoll is seeking the perfect person to run their bookshop for six months.
The pop-up bookshop opened in December and has been a massive hit with holidaymakers, and it's not hard to see why. Who doesn't love reading a good book in the sunshine?
Along with the day to day running of the bookshop, the lucky job holder will host experiences for the hotel guests, such as creative writing classes, as well as writing monthly blogposts and creating entertaining newsletters.
The job application reads: "The bookshop was created to reflect the stunning natural environment and intelligent luxury that Soneva Fushi provides.
"The lucky individual will have a month’s pre-departure product training with the Ultimate Library team, prior to flying to the Maldives to join the Soneva team for a 6-month placement role in mid-October. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a passion for books and the ability to engage with guests of all ages."
The placement would run from October for six months, so it would be expected you'd be spending Christmas in paradise.
You would also be expected to write a short blog post every month.
