This 13-year-old girl has disappeared from her home in Birmingham - police think she could be in Manchester

A vulnerable 13-year-old who went missing from her home in Birmingham could be in Manchester , police have said.

Abbie Marie Large was last seen at around 5pm on Tuesday in the Selly Oak area.

West Midlands Police say they are becoming increasingly concerned for the teenager's welfare, and are urging anyone who sees her to get in touch.

Officers believe the teenager could have used public transport to travel north to Manchester.

Abbie is white, of slim build, and is around 5ft 6ins tall.

She has long brown hair and was last seen wearing a black hoody with the word ‘Champion’ written on it, a pair of blue jeans and a pair of black and pink FILA trainers.

West Midlands Police shared Abbie's photo on social media on Wednesday morning.

Anyone who sees Abbie or knows of her whereabouts is asked to contact police on 101 immediately.
