A teenage boy was threatened by a group of thieves who stole his bike in Newport city centre.
The thirteen-year-old was approached by a group of six or seven teenagers in the subway under the Old Green Roundabout on Tuesday, August 25.
The teenagers threatened him before making off with his electric bike at approximately 5.15pm. The boy was not physically hurt
Gwent Police is now appealing for information about the incident or the potential whereabouts of the boy's bike.
The bike is an electric KTM Marcina Ride 291 in light grey and orange with black KTM logos on the frame -similar to the bike pictured below.
The bike is also distinctive - due to being "upgraded with black Dethrone handle grips" and a black memory foam saddle with a white stripe and grey flat pedals. The wheels have also been upgraded with tubeless tyres that have MAXXIS in large white letters on the frame.
Anyone with information relating to the incident or the whereabouts of the bike is asked to call Gwent Police on 101 or to message them on social media quoting 2000310929.
