A group of thirsty punters were pictured braving a torrential downpour to have a pint today as locals joked they showed true British "Bulldog spirit" at its finest.
Huddled under umbrellas as rain hammers down around them, the determined women seem to carry on drinking and eating at their table outside The Cranberry Farm in Cranbrook, Devon.
Under current Government coronavirus rules, pubs and other hospitality venues can only serve customers outside.
Sharing the photo on Facebook, the pub's owners joked: "Rain, what rain? Anything for a pint on a Bank holiday weekend!"
The post has been seen by hundreds of people on social media with many in hysterics at the sheer determination of the group, reports Devonshire Live.
Sharing the pub's photo on Saturday afternoon, Lucy Florence Wilson said: "If anyone ever asks me for a photo which sums up British people, it would be this one.

"Taken by my local pub the Cranberry Farm near Exeter about an hour ago. HardyBrits. WhyAreWeLikeThis.
"It’s just the epitome of Britishness, determined to enjoy life no matter the weather or circumstances."
The photo has attracted more than 650 likes across Facebook and Twitter, with many joking the weather is typical of a Bank Holiday weekend.
The Cranberry Farm has been contacted for comment.
The photo comes as the Met Office extended a weather warning for the Bank Holiday weekend.
The yellow weather warning for wind now covers large swathes of England and Wales.
The warning states the likelihood of the following disruptions:
- Some delays to road, rail, air and ferry transport are likely
- Probably some bus and train services affected, with some journeys taking longer
- Delays for high-sided vehicles on exposed routes and bridges likely
- Damage to outdoor temporary structures possible, with some tree branches down too
- It’s likely that some coastal routes, sea fronts and coastal communities will be affected by spray and/or large waves
