Third Six Nations Covid-19 case announced as France players sent home for the week

A third member of France's management team has tested positive for Covid-19.

Assistant coach - and former hooker - William Servat will now isolate for seven days ahead of Les Bleus' fixture against Scotland a week Sunday.

The news comes after head coach Fabien Galthie and another non-playing staff member tested positive for coronavirus on Tuesday, following the team's win over Ireland in Dublin.

None of the players have tested positive for the virus but have been advised themselves to isolate until the end of the week. The French Rugby Federation says that none of those who have tested positive are displaying any symptoms.

The FFR says that further tests will be carried out on Friday and Sunday.

Ireland's players and non-playing staff were tested on Monday and returned a full round of negatives.
