Police have charged a third person over a road rage incident on the NSW central coast on Monday.
The charges come after footage was shared widely on social media showing a man leaving his car and approaching a woman before punching her in the face.
The third person charged is a 23-year-old woman, from Salt Ash, believed to be the driver of the silver Ford ute that the woman who was hit was riding in.
Police said two cars were travelling along the Pacific Highway in Lake Munmorah on Monday when they stopped at an intersection.
An argument then broke out between the man and at least one of the women in the silver ute.
On Thursday, the 21-year-old woman attended Wyong Police Station where police laid a raft of charges including malicious damage, being armed with intent to commit an indictable offence, intentionally throwing an object at a vehicle and having part of her body outside the car window.
The 41-year-old man was on Wednesday charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
The female driver was charged with driving a manner dangerous to the public, malicious damage, not complying with 'P' licence and driving with an unrestrained passenger.
She has been given conditional bail is expected to appear in Wyong Local Court on August 16.
