Third man charged with NSW murder

A 64 year old man is the third person to be charged over the shooting death of Stacey Klimovitch. (AAP)

A third man has been charged with the shooting murder of a Newcastle woman who was killed at her front door earlier this year.

Stacey Klimovitch, 61, was shot dead when she opened the door of her Stockton home on the evening of June 9.

Two men, aged 29 and 46, have already been charged over their alleged involvement in her murder and remain before the courts.

Investigators on Wednesday spoke with a third man, a 64-year-old inmate at Silverwater jail, and charged him with murder and accessory after the fact to murder.

He is due to appear before Newcastle Local Court on Monday.
