Think you know the bridges of the Tyne? 20 pictures of the Quayside as you've never seen it before

They’re part of the fabric of our city and have been photographed by millions of people.

So how do you get a different shot of the bridges of the Tyne?

That was the challenge ChronicleLive photographer Claire McKie-Reid gave herself- and here are the results.

Claire said: “The bridges over the Tyne are some of the most photographed structures in the region - so I wanted to see if I could get some unusual shots.

“It was poor weather every time I went out but I tried to use that to my advantage and get some different shots.”

From the iconic Tyne Bridge from behind the High Level Bridge ‘love locks’ to light trails on the Swing Bridge at night, Claire captured a number of unique shots.
