Think you know Bristol's recycling rules? Take this quiz and find out

It can be sometimes be a challenge to keep track of what goes into each of your recycling boxes.

Each household in Bristol has three recycling containers - a black box, a green box and a recently introduced blue recycling bag, all of which are collected every week.

Bristol City Council is aiming to reduce the amount of residual household rubbish each person creates per year from 200kg to 150kg by 2025.

The authority also wants to cut the amount of waste sent to landfill from 15 per cent to less than five per cent by 2030.

It's therefore important to be aware of what goes into your boxes and what cannot be recycled to avoid unnecessary waste.

If you think if you're up-to-date on Bristol's recycling rules, try out the quiz below and let us know how well you did in the comments.
