Think you can pass the UK citizenship test? Try your luck with our quiz

Anyone wanting to settle in the UK or have British citizenship must pass a tricky exam known as the 'Life in the UK test.'

The Government normally charges applicants £50 to take the test which is made up of 24 questions about British traditions and customs. Those sitting the exam will have 45 minutes to answer the questions and must score 75% or more to pass.

Experts suggest that if you practice then the test itself is not too hard, however, many British citizens who have sat the exam without any preparation have found it difficult, and some have failed spectacularly. We've put together a stack of example questions if you want to try your luck.
