Culture Night

Culture Night returns this Friday, September 23 for a huge array of events taking place across the city.

There will be a huge selection of free live music in Dublin as part of Culture Night including performances at Meeting House Square and Spencer Dock, as well as various venues in the city such as R.A.G.E. and the historic Fruit & Veg Market.

Remnant Ecologies at the Botanic Gardens

A stunning light and sound experience has come to Dublin's National Botanic Gardens in Glasnevin.

Remnant Ecologies is a 1.3km night-time adventure by Welsh artist Jony Easterby which opened on Wednesday, September 21 and will run until Sunday, September 25 as part of Dublin Fringe Festival.

It costs €12 with tickets for groups of four available for €40. Children under the age of 2 go for free. Tickets can be purchased on the Dublin Fringe Festival website.

Pub quiz

Dublin is home to a wide range of regular pub quizzes.

Among the pubs that host pub quizzes on the weekend is All My Friends in The Liberties on Sunday nights, The Back Page in Phibsborough every Friday and Saturday night, Leonard's Corner on the South Circular Road every Friday night, and McGowan's of Phibsborough every Sunday.

Dublin's new Rock N Roll burger joint

Dublin is now home to a Rock N Roll themed burger joint with menu items names after famous bands.

Located across from The Mater Hospital on the North Circular Road, Mosh Burger serves up things like the Red Hot Chilli Pepper burger, the AC/DC burger and Sweet Fries O' Mine.

Bike Disco in Phoenix Park

The city’s first Bike Disco at the Phoenix Park will take place at 8pm on Friday, September 23 and will bring together crowds for a family friendly 5km cycle.

There will be bike decoration packs with festival flags and string lights for the first 100 participants who show up on the night.

Drive In Movie at Leopardstown Racecourse

This weekend sees the release of the highly anticipated Don't Worry Darling in Irish cinemas.

The flick stars Florence Pugh and Harry Styles along with a host of other fantastic actors, and will be shown at Leopardstown Racecourse at Retro Drive In Movies this Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Dublin Veg Fest

Whether you are vegan, vegetarian, interested in plant-based food or just a fan of great flavours, Dublin Veg Fest will bring together a host of delicious food vendors serving dishes from all over the world this weekend.

Taking place at at Leinster Cricket Club in Rathmines on Saturday and Sunday, September 24 and 25, expect Afro-Caribbean, Middle Eastern, Asian and South American food as well as talks and other things happening on both days.

Saved by the 90s at The workman's Club

90s kids are in for a treat this Saturday, September 24 at The Workman's Club as a night of nostalgia kicks off at 11.30pm.

Expect to bop away to The Backstreet Boys, Spice Girls, NSYNC, Britney Spears, TLC, Peter Andre, Snoop Dog, Dr Dre, Shania Twain and more 90s legends throughout the night.
