Things to do in Dublin: The iconic Guinness Storehouse is set to open its gates this weekend

Well, folks, this is the news we’ve all been waiting for.

One of Dublin’s most iconic attractions, the Guinness Storehouse is set to reopen its doors this weekend.

The famous Guinness gates will be finally opened this Saturday for the first time since lockdown began 119.5 days ago (incidentally it takes 119.5 seconds to pour a pint of the black stuff) .

The popular tourist attraction will be hosting a series of “Welcome Back” experiences to mark the reopening.

Visitors will have the chance to explore the ingredients, history and culture of the Guinness brand.

The special Welcome Back ticket offer is available at just €15. Or you can choose the Guinness Uncovered ticket for €25 which includes a 90-minute experience led by a beer specialist, tasting all your Guinness favourites as well as new, experimental beers.

And the tour will end with a visit to the newly revamped Gravity Bar where you can take in the panoramic views of Dublin City against a backdrop of the new art installation from Dublin-based street artist ACHES.
