A south Dublin village is set to transform into a seafood lover’s heaven as the Dalkey Lobster Festival starts today.
Festival goers will have the opportunity to sink their teeth into some delicious local seafood as well as enjoy top musical performances by the best of global jazz musicians.
The event will be on until Sunday and will have lots of free and exciting activities in store including cooking demonstrations and competitions.
You can try out some mouthwatering oysters, crab, lobster and many other fish based dishes throughout the festival.
And aspiring chefs can show off their cooking skills by entering the Dalkey Junior Master Chef Competition.
If you’ve entered the competition, all you need to do is bring along your own ingredients and cook your fish based dish in front of a live audience, local celebrities, and some of the country’s most famous food critics.
