Thieves who stole sheep from West Lothian field are hunted by police

Police are appealing for witnesses after sheep were stolen from a field in West Lothian.

Between 5am and 9am on Saturday, April 27, 11 Ewes and approximately 17 Lambs have been stolen from a field alongside the A706, south of Linlithgow, near the Carribber reservoir.

A police spokesperson said: "Were you in the area at between these times? Did you see or hear anything suspicious while traveling along the A706?

"If you have any information that could assist the enquiry please contact us on 101 and quote incident number 2547 of the 27th April 19."
