Thieves warned stolen jetski has 'serious life-threatening fault'

Thieves who stole a jetski from a water park near Bristol have been warned that the machine has a 'serious life-threatening fault' and if anyone uses it they are risking their lives.

The jetski was taken this week from the West Country Water Park venue close to the M4 near Bradley Stoke, but the owners of the park and the owners of the jetski fear for whoever ends up buying or using the machine.

The owner of the jetski, Shaun, said whoever took it should just return it, because it's currently in a dangerous state.

He said the jetski was booked in for a repair, and currently is not useable.

"Sadly we’ve had somebody take one of our Jetski’s that had a serious fault and was booked in for repair," he said. "I hope we get our property back, and that it is not used as it has a serious life-threatening fault, and anyone who tries to ride it is riksing not only their own lives.

He added a warning to the thieves that they will struggle to dispose of the jetski. "The police have been notified and the tracker is active," he said. "DataTag have been notified and no dealer will touch this ski or sell you parts - the best possible outcome is to return it to us and leave it at that," he added.
