Thieves target parked vehicles in Little Village

Police are warning Little Village residents about thieves stealing from parked vehicles this month on the Southwest Side.

In each case, someone broke into a parked vehicle and took property, according to a community alert from Chicago police.

The thefts occurred:

  • Between 6 p.m. March 21 and 11:25 a.m. March 22 in the 2800 block of South Christiana Avenue;
  • About midnight March 21 in the 2700 block of South Pulaski Road; and
  • Between 10:30 p.m. March 20 and 8:40 a.m. March 21 in the 2800 block of South Pulaski.

Anyone with information is asked to call Area Central detectives at 312-747-8382.
