Thieves target parked ambulance in Glasgow north east late night attack

Brazen thieves have targeted an ambulance as it was parked outside an address in Ruchazie in a late night attack.

The ambulance was called to the address late on Tuesday evening (16th February), at around 11.30pm.

While parked, it is believed that a thief or number of thieves entered the ambulance while paramedics were attending a patient.

They stole a number of items from paramedics on duty.

Police enquiries are currently ongoing into the incident.

A spokesperson told Glasgow Live: "Around 11.30 pm on Tuesday, 16 February, 2021, a quantity of items were stolen from an ambulance in the Ruchazie area of Glasgow.

"Police enquiries are ongoing."
