Thieves steal hot tub and spa from Ayrshire Log Cabins near Prestwick Airport

A trailer and a hot tub and spa was stolen from a log cabin near Prestwick Airport.

Between 8.30pm and 9.10pm on Monday, May 27, a 6m twin axle trailer and a Caldera Canabria 9ft by 7ft spa hot tub were stolen from Ayrshire Log Cabins on Tay Road.

Police appealed for anyone who saw a Ford Transit Tipper with a white cab to get in touch.

Constable Stuart Lawrie, of Ayr Police Office, said: “The trailer, containing the hot tub, was stolen in Prestwick and travelled northbound on the A77.

“It was last seen at the BP Queensferry North filling station in East Kilbride at 10pm that evening.

“It is possible that this may have been stolen to be sold on. However, whoever has taken it must be storing it somewhere.

“I would ask anyone who might have seen this vehicle and trailer or knows where this hot tub is being stored to get in touch.”

Anyone with information can contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
