Thieves steal 120 sheep from Scots farm in mass raid

Police are appealing for information following the theft of over 100 sheep from a Scots farm.

The animals were targeted by thieves sometime between early April and the middle of June.

In total, around 120 cheviot sheep have been stolen from the hills around Birkhill Farm, Moffat.

All of the sheep that have been stolen were tagged with the number 584333 and were also marked with orange marker fluid.

Cops are probing the incident and are urging anyone with information to get in touch on 101, quoting PDG0124710621.
