Two men smashed their way into a Merseyside Cash Converters store and made off with mobile phones and jewellery.
The men, who are believed to be between 18 and 20 years old, broke into the store on Eastbank Street in Southpor t during the early hours of this morning (Wednesday).
Merseyside Police confirmed a report was received at around 4.50am today
The men are said to have fled the scene on pedal bikes and now forensic and witness enquiries are ongoing.
Inspector James Halpin said: “I would appeal for anyone who was in the vicinity of Eastbank Street early this morning who was anything or anyone suspicious, to contact us.
“Similarly I would ask anyone who was driving in the area who may have captured something on dash cam footage to get in touch. Any information you hold could be vital to our investigation to help us find the people responsible and bring them to justice.”

The incident is the latest in a string of business burglaries in the town.
Artizan Hair Bar on Sussex Road was targeted by a man wearing sliders and wielding a hammer, last Thursday (April 15).
More than £600 of damaged was caused to the salon.
On Saturday morning (April 17), Emily's Sandwich Bar on Old Park Lane was targeted, with a thief making off with the till - just days after the café had reopened under the easing of restrictions.
