Thieves raid Notts petrol station after breaking into cigarette stockroom

Thieves looted a Nottinghamshire petrol station after making their way into its cigarette stockroom area.

The raid happened after a vehicle was driven onto the forecourt of the Jet Petrol Station, Loughborough Road, Bunny, at around 1.33am on Friday (August 16).

A spokesman said: "A number of people forced entry and attacked the cigarette and stock room area, before escaping with an unknown quantity of goods.

"The vehicle drove off toward Loughborough."

Police are carrying out enquiries in the area.

Anyone with information or dash cam footage that may help the is asked to contact the force on 101, quoting incident 35 of August 16.
