Thieves nick £50k worth of cars in early morning raid on Scots showroom

Three cars worth around £50,000 were stolen in Falkirk during the early hours of this morning.

Thieves broke into Formula One Car Supermarket on Glasgow Road in Camelon late last night or during the early hours of this morning.

It's believed extensive damage has been caused to the showroom as well, with gates and fences vandalised.

All three cars nicked are Ford Focus STs, but one has since been recovered.

Cops are still hunting two cars (Formula One Car Supermarket)

However, cops are still on the hunt for a blue and white sport model, with the registrations BT13WYC and YC13EAF.

Anyone who was in the area at the time and might have heard or seen anything is being urged to contact police on 101.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We received a report of two vehicles stolen from a dealership on Glasgow Road around 6.55am on Sunday, 21 February.

"The vehicles were stolen sometime overnight between Saturday, 20 February and 1.30am on Sunday, 21 February.

"Enquiries are ongoing."
