Thieves drive away with parked vehicles in Grand Crossing

Police are warning Grand Crossing residents of a three vehicle thefts that happened this month.

In each case, residents who parked their cars on the street returned to find them missing, Chicago police said.

The thefts happened:

  • About 7 a.m. Jan. 7 in the 1400 block of East 68th Street;
  • Between 9 p.m. Jan. 21 and 8:20 a.m. Jan. 22 in the 6800 block of South Dorchester Avenue; and
  • About 7:40 a.m. Jan. 23 in the 1400 block of East 68th Street.

No suspect description was available.
