Thieves break into home in broad daylight and steal £28,000-worth of jewellery

Thieves broke into a West Lothian house in broad daylight and stole £28,000-worth of jewellery and cash.

The robbery happened on Saturday, October 22 between 10am and 12.25pm at a house in Broxburn.
A quantity of jewellery, estimated to be worth around £28,000 was stolen along with cash.

Detective Constable Robert Gilmour said: “Our enquiries are ongoing and I am appealing to members of the public who may have any information which could assist us to get in touch.

“I would ask anyone who was in the area around those times to check their dash-cam footage, particularly anyone who was travelling on the A89 between 11am and 12.30pm that day.”
Anyone with any information is asked to contact 101 quoting incident 1571 of 22 October, 2022.
