Everton are still yet to agree a compensation package for Thierry Small despite Southampton confirming his signing.
The 17-year-old rejected the offer of professional terms with Everton and ripped up his scholarship to help force through a move.
Small, the youngest player to play for the Blues, had today penned a three-year pro deal with the Saints but Everton are due compensation.
The ECHO understands that no such agreement has been reached with the possibility of the transfer fee being resolved by a tribunal.
Small told the Southampton website this morning: Thierry Small said: “It’s an unbelievable feeling. A big moment for me and my family, especially to join such a family-orientated club. It’s an honour to be here and I can’t wait to get started.
“It’s a real great honour to play here and play under Ralph and I’m grateful to be here."
