Thierry Henry teaches AS Monaco youngster manners as he glares at Loic Badiashile until chair is tucked in

Thierry Henry is certainly proving himself to be no soft touch in his managerial career, as Monaco’s young goalkeeper Loic Badiashile can attest.

The 20-year-old joined his manager for the pre-match press conference ahead of Monaco’s Champions League tie against Borussia Dortmund and found himself the subject of an Henry death stare as he stood to leave the room.

Henry gestured in surprise that Badiashile had not tucked his chair in when he left and stood waiting as his young player tidied up after himself.

Monaco have no hope of playing European football next season after taking just a solitary point from their first five group games though Dortmund will be eyeing a win that could take them above Atletico Madrid in Group A.

"There'll be some rotation, but with the ambition of putting in the best performance on the field," Henry said of his plans for the match. "We're not forgetting our main aim, which is the game against Lyon."

Henry has endured a tough start to his managerial career in the principality but wins over Amiens and Caen in recent weeks have ensured they remain in touch with safety as they struggle to extricate themselves from the mire that cost Leonardo Jardim his job. With a game in hand Monaco are three points behind Dijon and Amiens in the safe zone.
