Thief steals NHS polo shirt from paramedic's home while he was working 12-hour shift

A heartless thief stole a paramedic's mountain bike, Playstation 4 and an NHS polo shirt from his house - all while he was working a 12-hour shift.

The break-in happened at a property in Little Hallam Lane, Ilkeston, between 5pm on Tuesday April 14 and 7am the next morning.

The offender stole a yellow NORCO Fluid mountain bike with a sticker under the seat reading ‘Cycling Member’.

They also stole a Garmin Edge cycling GPS device, a Lenovo laptop and a Makita drill.

Derbyshire Police have released photos of the bike and Garmin device and want anyone who has been offered them for sale or has seen anyone with them in the last couple of days to get in touch.

The force also wants to hear from anyone who saw suspicious activity in the Little Hallam Lane area between the times the burglary took place.

If you have any information at all that could help officers with their investigation, please contact them and quote crime reference 20*192807.

You can also call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
