Thief makes wise decision to return Irish boxer Spike O'Sullivan's snowman

All's well that ends well - that was the story of how Irish boxer Gary 'Spike' O'Sullivan got his snowman back.

Spike's snowman - which is adored by his two young children - was robbed last Wednesday evening, but has now been safely returned to the Cork champ, Cork Beo reports.

Spike tweeted: "Guess who's back! Back again!

"HO! HO! HO! Thanks as well to the person who won't be named after returning it. Our kids are delighted! #LessonLearned ".

The boxer even showed his appreciation for the thief who decided to do the right thing and return the snowman.

"Ah sure everyone makes mistakes and deserves a chance," he tweeted in reply to one of his followers.

This comes after Spike had tweeted earlier informing the thief that he had footage of the incident and that he knew who the culprit was.

Posting to social media last Saturday, Spike had a “quick little message” for the thief.

“I have a good camera system and I now know who you are.

“Return the snowman, it’s in your best interest,” he added.

The brazen thief had snatched the clay snowman from the front of the O’Sullivan house at around 5:20 pm on Wednesday evening as the family relaxed inside.
