Thick smoke fills sky as fire breaks out on mountain

A fire erupted behind Maes Du Golf Club on Cwm Mountain in Llandudno on Tuesday, 26 August.
Smoke was seen billowing over Llandudno as a result of the blaze.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service deployed multiple fire appliances and wildfire units from various locations to tackle the incident.
Residents in Llandudno, particularly those on Ffordd Maenan and Bodnant, were advised to close their windows and doors and avoid the area.
