Chelsea fans will be praying that Eden Hazard remains at Stamford Bridge this summer amid talk of a big-money move to Real Madrid.
The Belgian international is out of contract at the end of the 2019/20 season and the Blues could well decide to cash in on him rather than lose him for absolutely nothing in just over a year.
While there is the possibility he could pen a new long-term deal in west London, many expect Los Blancos to make their move and try to lure him to the Spanish capital.
Hazard has made no secret of his desire to play for the Champions League holders one day and talk has gone into overdrive following Zinedine Zidane's return as manager earlier this month.
Thibaut Courtois made the move from Chelsea to Real Madrid last summer and the goalkeeper has been speaking about the possibility of linking up with his international teammate at club level once again.
The manner of the goalkeeper's departure didn't exactly go down well with Chelsea fans and his latest comments about Hazard will also go down like a lead balloon.
"I don't know if he is going to sign for Real Madrid, nor do I know if the club want him," he told Onda Cero, as reported by The Mirror .
"For me, he is a great player, but I don't decide those things.
"Each one decides what he does with his life. For me, he is one of the best in the world and as a friend I would like him to be here."
